Itinerary

Whenever your international flight lands in city airport, you will be transferred to the hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. You may need some time to relax and recover from the long-distance flight or possibly from jet-lag. If you feel like going for a walk and checking out places nearby, feel free to ask from your hotel reception for recommendations.

At 9.00 am, depart for Terelj National Park. The nearest and the most breathtaking sightseeing from the capital Ulaanbaatar. En route, you will visit “Genghis Khan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. You can go inside and enjoy museums, and souvenir shops.

Following lunch, we will explore the national park and see Turtle Rock - the symbol of the National Park. You can climb on the rock if you want, Also, visit the Ariyabal meditation temple - Once you reach the temple and stand on the top of the hill, you will be amused by the whole park view. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in the national park.

After a relaxing lunch, we will take a short drive to the dog sledding camp and then enjoy dog sledding with a team of Huskies. Lead your own team and sled in a magical winter atmosphere. Return to Ulaanbaatar, and transferred to your hotel.

In the morning at 9:00 am, your guide and driver pick you up and head to Bogd Khaan mountain for hiking until lunchtime. After lunch, drive to the airport for a flight to Dalanzadgad (Flight departure at 16:00 and Arrival at 16:55 ). If time allows, we will visit the Dalanzadgad museum after landing in Dalanzadgad. Overnight in a good local hotel there.

Today, our excursion will start at 8 am to the extraordinary Khongor sand dune the largest and most breathtaking sand dunes in Mongolia. This is undoubtedly among the most spectacular of the country. The sand dunes make you feel extraordinary comfort and infinite peace. Reach the tourist camp around lunchtime and relax until Gobi’s hot temperature decrease.

In the evening, visit local camel herder family in their ger, and experience their nomadic lifestyle and ride a camel to explore the area. Afterward, we will take a short drive to a beautiful green oasis of Seruun Bulag near the Khongor River and sand dunes. Then, climb up to the highest point of sand dunes called Singing Dune. Dinner and overnight at the nomad family.

On this day, our trip will continue to Bayanzag, which means ‘rich in saxaul shrubs’, was once an ancient sea bed. This amazing place is more commonly known as ‘Flaming Cliffs’ and place where a lot of Paleontological findings have been discovered. American paleontologists led by Roy Chapman Andrew’s findings here proved to the world that dinosaurs laid eggs. We will wander on the red hillocks.

Then we will proceed to Muhar Shivert frozen waterfall. There is a mouth of Muhar Shivert 7 km south of the mouth of Yol Valley in the eastern mountain. It is the one of the nine wonders of Umnugovi province. Drive to Dalanzadgad town and transferred to your hotel.

This morning at 9 am, you will meet with your guide and driver at your hotel and drive to the Hustai National Park, where the world’s last wild horse (never domesticated), Takhi inhabits. En route, visit nomad family – experience nomadic life and enjoy tasting dairy products. Upon arrival at Hustai, visit the small Ger information center, which shows some detailed information about the last truly wild horses. Also you will see the wild horses in their natural habitat. Return to Ulaanbaatar and have dinner at the hotel.

In the morning, head to Kharkhorin, a small village, and one of the country's major tourist destinations. Historically known as Karakorum, which was an ancient capital of the Mongol Empire and the most important city in the history of the Silk Road, was founded by Genghis Khan in 1220. On arrival, we will visit the museum of Karakorum and learn more about Mongolian history.

Continue the guided tour to the magnificent and oldest Buddhist Monastery complex of Erdenezuu, built in the 16th century, with 108 Buddhist stupas. Here you can listen to monks chanting of Buddhist sutras. Check-in a good local hotel and dinner is at your hotel.

Today we will return to Ulaanbaatar and on the way, we will have lunch. Upon arrival, visit Sukhbaatar Square, which lies at the heart of the city. The Mongolian Parliament Building stands in the north of the square, displaying an astonishing sight of Genghis Khaan and his warriors’ sculptures. The evening is dedicated to visiting the “Folklore show”. It’s a great chance to hear Khöömii (throat singing) and amazing contortion.

As your memorable trip comes to an end, then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight at 9:05 am to your next destination or home. Your driver pick you up at 6;10 am from your hotel.

🍽️ Meals in Mongolia Tours

Most of our Mongolia tour packages include full-board meals — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In Ulaanbaatar, lunches or dinners are served at popular local restaurants, giving you the opportunity to experience genuine Mongolian cuisine and the country’s unique dining culture. At tourist ger camps, lunches and dinners are pre-arranged and include 3–4 courses — soup and/or salad, main dish, dessert, and bottled water. If your itinerary includes stops at local roadside restaurants, you’ll be able to choose meals directly from the menu. In Ulaanbaatar, a wider range of cuisines — including Korean, Japanese, and Chinese dishes — is available upon request.

Special Diets: Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals are available with advance notice.
