A compact tour designed to give a complete taste of Mongolia in just four days.

Itinerary

In the morning at 9:00am, your private guide and driver pick you up and head to Mini Gobi Elsen Tasarkhai - the beautiful sand dunes. There you will discover this magnificent place on camelback. Then continue to drive to Kharkhorin village. In the evening, we will visit nomad family home to learn how to cook Mongolian meal. Check-in to a good local guest house and dinner is at your hotel.

This morning, we will visit the museum of Karakorum and learn more about Mongolian history. Continue to visit oldest and magnificent Erdenezuu monastery. After lunch, we will drive to the Hustai National Park, where the world’s last wild horse (never domesticated), Takhi inhabits. En route, visit nomad family – experience nomadic life. Upon arrival at Hustai, visit the small Ger information center, which shows some detailed information about the last truly wild horses. Also you will see the wild horses in their natural habitat. Overnight at tourist Ger camp.

At 9.00 am depart for Terelj National Park. The nearest and the most breathtaking sightseeing from the capital Ulaanbaatar. Following lunch, we will take a short drive to the dog sledding camp and then enjoy dog sledding with a team of Huskies. Lead your own team and sled in a magical winter atmosphere. Then we will explore the national park and see Turtle Rock - the symbol of the National Park. You can climb on the rock if you want, Also, visit the Ariyabal meditation temple - Once you reach the temple and stand on the top of the hill, you will be amused by the whole park view. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in the national park.

After relaxing breakfast, head to “Genghis Khan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. You can go inside and enjoy museums, and souvenir shops. Return to Ulaanbaatar and you will be transferred to a location of your choice.

🍽️ Meals in Mongolia Tours

Most of our Mongolia tour packages include full-board meals — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In Ulaanbaatar, lunches or dinners are served at popular local restaurants, giving you the opportunity to experience genuine Mongolian cuisine and the country’s unique dining culture. At tourist ger camps, lunches and dinners are pre-arranged and include 3–4 courses — soup and/or salad, main dish, dessert, and bottled water. If your itinerary includes stops at local roadside restaurants, you’ll be able to choose meals directly from the menu. In Ulaanbaatar, a wider range of cuisines — including Korean, Japanese, and Chinese dishes — is available upon request.

Special Diets: Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals are available with advance notice.

In the Countryside: During your trip, you’ll stay in Tourist Ger Camps, Mongolia’s signature accommodation. Each camp features traditional Gers (yurts) with scenic surroundings.

Winter Tours
