Itinerary
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. After clear customs and claim your luggage, you will be greeted by GTM tour guide & driver at the exit and then transferred to your hotel. After check-in, free at leisure for the rest of the day to refresh yourself from jet lag.

At 8 am, you will meet with your private tour guide and driver at your hotel and start your trip to Mini Gobi Elsen Tasarkhai - the beautiful sand dunes are covered with rare bushes shrubs such as willow, elm, dogwood, and a small forest near a river. It is very unique to see this type of ecosystem, a combination of mountains, forests, steppes, and sand dunes in one location. Upon arrival, you will visit the camel herder family for lunch and explore their unique nomadic lifestyle and then ride a camel to discover this magnificent place on camelback.

Today we will travel across vast grassy plains, interspersed with basalt rocks and meandered rivers. After having lunch, do trekking along with Orkhon river until we reach the magnificent Orkhon waterfall or known as Ulaantsutgalan which is one of the best sights in central Mongolia. About 25m downstream from the waterfall you can climb down to the bottom of the gorge; 22m deep and dotted with pine trees.

After relaxing breakfast, start horse riding to our main destination Naiman Nuur Lake and its first lake Khuis lake which is Mongolia's most secret and uniquely beautiful lake. Also, our place on this day is not far from the lake, and after dinner, you can go to the lake and see swans and birds and experience the true beauty of nature. Overnight in the tent on the shore of Khuis Lake.

On this day, you will continue to ride to a place where five of the eight lakes can be seen from. At that higher altitude, you will catch spectacular, panoramic views over this wild terrain. After lunch, reach Shireet Lake, the biggest lake of Naiman Nuur which has a narrow peninsula going into it.

After breakfast, you will visit Tuvkhun Monastery, located in the dense forest and picturesque mountain Shijveet at an elevation of 200 m above sea level. Here in this monastery, the first Bogd Zanabazar created his great works of art including Soyombo script in 1686, along with many images of deities. After lunch, our excursion continues to Kharkhorin, a small village, and one of the country's major tourist destinations. Historically once was an ancient capital of the Mongol Empire and the most important city in the history of the Silk Road.
Upon arrival, we will visit the museum of Karakorum and learn more about Mongolian history. Continue the guided tour to the magnificent and the oldest Buddhist Monastery complex of Erdenezuu,

This morning let us take you to the world’s last wild horse (never domesticated), Takhi in Hustai National Park with an open steppe, a river valley, birch forest, and mountains.
Lunch and check-in at tourist camp near the National Park. After some refreshment, we visit the information center and learn familiar with the national park and wild horse. Take a short drive and walking to see the horses in their natural habitat. There is a great opportunity to take photos of these endangered horses.

This morning, we will return to Ulaanbaatar. First visit Zaisan Memorial Hill is a popular tourist attraction and one of the highlights of Ulan Baatar because of the fantastic views it offers over the city. After lunch at a good local restaurant in Ulaanbaatar, visit the Museum of Mongolian National History – It provides an excellent overview of the history and culture of Mongols from prehistory to the contemporary era. Continue to visit Sukhbaatar square which lies at the heart of the city. The Mongolian Parliament Building stands in the north of the square, displaying an astonishing sight of Genghis Khaan and his warriors’ sculptures.
Next, visit the largest glorious Gandan monastery and capture the monks’ daily rituals.
The evening is dedicated to visiting the Folklore show. It’s a great chance to hear Khöömii (throat singing) and see some fabulous costumes. Your farewell dinner is at your hotel.

You will be free at leisure in your hotel or wander around on your own until being escorted to the Chinggis Khaan International Airport for your departure flight home. End of service.
