It is truly a visual treat, with untouched nature, genuine nomadism, and historical treasures waiting to be discovered. This region is off a beaten-track destination where you will barely meet any other tourists, which means that the authenticity and hospitality remain intact.

Itinerary

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. After clearing customs and claiming your luggage, you will be greeted by your driver at the exit and then transferred to your hotel. After check-in, free at leisure for the rest of the day to refresh yourself from jet lag.
Accommodation: Hotel 4*. Meals: not included thon is day

Early in the morning, your guide and driver pick you up and start our journey to Chinggis city the capital city of Hentii province. 
      On the way, we will visit “Genghis Khan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Chinggis city which is located on the banks of the Kherlen river. After some time, refreshments in the hotel, we will explore the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 Accommodation: Local Hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

After relaxing breakfast, continue to drive to Dadal village, which is the reputed birthplace and possible burial site of Genghis khaan. First, check in tourist camp and have lunch.
      In the evening, we will visit the local nomad family home and ride a horse to explore the area.

Accommodation: Tourist camp (wooden house).  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

After breakfast, we will visit there several historical sites such as Deluun Boldog and Khajuu springs. Deluun boldog is a low hill where Genghis Khan was born. 
      The legend says Yesugei baatar resided around the Gurvan Nuur or Three Lakes and his son Temujin or Genghis Khan was born on the shores of the middle lake of Gurvan Nuur.
In 1962, on the 800th anniversary of Genghis Khan’s birth, a 12 m tall statue was erected at Gurvan Nuur Lake, 3 km north of Dadal Soum. Also, we will
visit a famous local hunter men’s Ger museum.
After lunch, we will drive to Binder village and cross the Onon River. Dinner and overnight at Ger camp at Kurkh River valley.

After breakfast, we will head to Baldan Bereeven temple which is located in the valley of the Jargalant River backed by the steep cliff of sacred Munkh Ulziit Mountain. the valley is well watered by the Jargalant River and has long been renowned for its rich vegetation and pasture for domestic animals and now by famous herdsmen people. En route, we will see the Rashaan Had Rock with numerous carvings and rock paintings belongs to the period between Stone Age and the 16th century,  
      After lunch, we will explore the ruins of Baldan Bereeven Monastery, where we will arrive in the late afternoon. Once there you can walk around exploring the river, natural landscape, and wildlife – a great place for photos. Now the Baldan Bereeven Monastery includes three restored temples and nearly 50 remains of temples, stupas, and other religious structures.

After relaxing breakfast at 10 am, we will drive to the beautiful Blue Lake, where young Temuujin was enthroned as a king of united tribes of Mongolia and titled “Genghis khan”. Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Nuur translated as “Blue Lake of Black Heart”. The Khar Zurh is the sharp topped mountain on the north side of the lake. The surrounding area of Khukh Nuur is quiet, peaceful, and wonderful for hiking and relaxation. On the way, we will visit the authentic local nomadic family to experience their lifestyle and taste dairy products.

At 9.00 am, your private guide and driver pick you up and depart to Terelj National Park. the nearest and the most breathtaking sightseeing from the capital Ulaanbaatar. At the entrance of the National Park, stop at Ovoo – rock pile; nature worshipping place of nomads. 
      Then you will explore the national park and see Turtle Rock - the symbol of the National Park. You can climb on the rock if you want, Also, visit the Ariyabal meditation temple - Once you reach the temple and stand on the top of the hill, you will be amused by the whole park view. Check-in one of the best tourist camps and have lunch.

At 9 am, you will meet with your private tour guide and driver at your hotel lobby and then the city tour starts with visiting the largest glorious Gandan monastery and capturing the monks’ daily rituals. Continue to visit the Museum of Mongolian National History – It provides an excellent overview of the history and culture of Mongols from prehistory to the contemporary era. After lunch at a good local restaurant, visit Sukhbaatar square which lies at the heart of the city.
      In the early evening, we will attend the “Folklore show” by the famous Tumen-Ekh ensemble - one of the most successful folk art groups to share traditional Mongolian music with the world, having traveled to over 40 countries. Farewell dinner and transfer to your hotel.

As your memorable trip comes to end, then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to your next destination or home.  Meal: Breakfast

🍽️ Meals in Mongolia Tours

Most of our Mongolia tour packages include full-board meals — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In Ulaanbaatar, lunches or dinners are served at popular local restaurants, giving you the opportunity to experience genuine Mongolian cuisine and the country’s unique dining culture. At tourist ger camps, lunches and dinners are pre-arranged and include 3–4 courses — soup and/or salad, main dish, dessert, and bottled water. If your itinerary includes stops at local roadside restaurants, you’ll be able to choose meals directly from the menu. In Ulaanbaatar, a wider range of cuisines — including Korean, Japanese, and Chinese dishes — is available upon request.

Special Diets: Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals are available with advance notice.
