Luxury Mongolia 9 days’ tour

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. After clear customs and claim your luggage, you will be greeted by TGM tour guide & driver at the exit and then transferred to your hotel. After check-in, free at leisure for the rest of the day to refresh yourself from jet lag.

After a relaxing breakfast, at 9 am, your private tour guide and driver pick you up and depart to Terelj National Park, the nearest and the most breathtaking sightseeing from the capital Ulaanbaatar First, we will explore the national park, and take a short drive to see Turtle Rock – the symbol of the National Park. You can climb on the rock if you want, Also, visit the Ariyabal meditation temple. Once you reach the temple and stand on the top of a hill, you will be amused by the whole park’s view. After lunch at the tourist camp, visit the nomad family – experience nomadic life and enjoy tasting dairy products. Then you will be transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast, we will return to Ulaanbaatar. On the way visit “Genghis Khan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. You can go inside and enjoy museums, souvenir shops. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, visit Zaisan Memorial Hill  a popular tourist attraction and one of the highlights of Ulan Baatar because of its fantastic views it offers.  The next visit is the brand-new Genghis Khaan Museum. 93% of the exhibits displayed in the "Chinggis Khan" museum are original. Officially licensed "A" copies of artifacts have been obtained from 14 countries around the world. Then we willl visit Sukhbaatar square which lies at the heart of the city. The Mongolian Parliament Building stands in the north of the square, displaying an astonishing sight of Genghis Khaan and his warriors’ sculptures. Transferred to your hotel.

 Today your guide and driver pick you up and take a short drive to Mongol Nomadic Show. Show includes

• Demonstration of everyday life of traditional Mongolian families and herders in a real life,

• Making dairy products and offering the taste of it,

• Live demonstration of the movement of Mongolian herder family by the carts including ox carts and by camel freight,

• Live demonstration of milking yaks, fastening and milking sheep, and goats, and milking the mare.

• Making the felt and tanning process

• Demonstration of national musical instruments and singing of folk songs,
   After a relaxing lunch, served with Mongolian food in the camp, we will drive to HS Khaan Resort.

Ger, explore their unique nomadic lifestyle. The sand dunes are the perfect place for camel riding. We will discover this magnificent place on camel back. After lunch, we will visit the flaming, red cliffs at Bayanzag - which means ‘rich in saxaul shrubs’, was once an ancient sea bed. This amazing place is more commonly known as ‘Flaming Cliffs’ and place where a lot of Paleontological findings have been discovered. American paleontologists led by Roy Chapman Andrew’s findings here proved to the world that dinosaurs laid eggs.
      Afterwards, we will drive towards to the Three Camel Lodge - awarded the prestige of being one of the top 50 eco-lodges in the world.

Today we will continue to explore Gobi and excursion to Havtsgait Valley, site of ancient rock drawings left by early Gobi settlers for more than 15,000 years ago. Hundreds of petroglyphs adorn rocks scattered on the top of the mountain and you will be rewarded with this amazing view after your hike up to the hill. The scenes depicted in these petroglyphs shed light on the everyday lives of the people who lived in the Gobi thousands of years ago.
      Return to the lodge for lunch. Rest of the day is free time on your own.

After relaxing breakfast, we will proceed to Yol valley (also called Yolyn Am & Eagle valley) in the hot Gobi Desert, shows unusual scenery. There you will do pleasant hiking to reach the end of the gorge with thick ice layers throughout the year. Surrounding mountains are home to argali, ibex, and many birds of prey, as well as numerous small rodents. Before dinner, we will reach Dalanzadgad town and overnight at one of the best Tourist camps.

Early this morning, transfer to the local airport for morning flight to Ulaanbaatar.  Your city guide and driver pick you up and start city tour visiting “Gandan” Monastery”, there you will listen to the horns calling lamas and monks to the temple, and capture the monks’ daily rituals. As you enter the main temple to Gandan, 26-meter-high majestic gilded indoor statue of Megjid Janraisig will welcome you. I’m sure you will notice prayers going round the stupa as a clock-wise direction.
      Our next highlight is "Cultural show" concert in the city, which is featuring traditional performances by singers, dancers and contortionists. It’s a great chance to hear Khöömii (throat singing) and see some fabulous costumes.
