Itinerary

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. After clear customs and claim your luggage, you will be greeted by your driver at the exit and then transferred to your hotel. After check-in, free at leisure for the rest of the day to refresh yourself from jet lag.

 At 8 am, you will meet with your private tour guide and driver at your hotel and start your trip to Mini Gobi Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes - the beautiful dunes are covered with rare bushes shrubs such as willow, elm, and dogwood and a small forest near a river. It is very unique to see this type of ecosystem, a combination of mountains, forests, steppes, and dunes in one location.

      After lunch at the tourist camp, we will visit a camel herder family and explore their unique nomadic lifestyle and discover this magnificent place on camelback. Dinner and overnight at Tourist camp.

Today we will head to Northern Mongolia driving on paved roads, passing several villages, and viewing picturesque Northern Mongolian scenery. On the way we visit Uran extinct volcano. This place is great for hiking and wildlife observation. This place is great for hiking and wildlife observation.

Enjoy breakfast and disembark to Murun town, a small town of Khuvsgul province with po pulation of 35000. Following lunch at Murun town, take a 2 hours’ drive to the Khatgal village on the shore of the lake and visit the village market and main port of the lake. On the way, we will see reindeers and take photo there.

After relaxing breakfast, take a short drive to the the Ice-Festival site for opening ceremony. This day you will see the festival games and matches, including the reindeer tribe performance, ice-cube game, ice target archery, winter cloth fashion contest among attendees, ice skating competition, ice hitting game, and horse sled race. The bonfire festival and see the shamanic ritual takes place in the evening.

This morning fly to Ulaanbaatar. Upon land at the airport, we will depart for Terelj National Parkd. the nearest and the most breathtaking sightseeing from the capital Ulaanbaatar. On the way visit “Genghis Khan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. You can go inside and enjoy museums, souvenir shops. Following lunch, we will explore the national park and see Turtle Rock - the symbol of the National Park. You can climb on the rock if you want, Also, visit the Ariyabal meditation temple - Once you reach the temple and stand on the top of hill, you will be amused by the whole park view.  Dinner and overnight at the tourist camp in the national park.

You will be escorted to the city airport from Red Rock resort without going to Ulaanbaatar for your departure flight home. End of service. Meals: Breakfast

🍽️ Meals in Mongolia Tours

Most of our Mongolia tour packages include full-board meals — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In Ulaanbaatar, lunches or dinners are served at popular local restaurants, giving you the opportunity to experience genuine Mongolian cuisine and the country’s unique dining culture. At tourist ger camps, lunches and dinners are pre-arranged and include 3–4 courses — soup and/or salad, main dish, dessert, and bottled water. If your itinerary includes stops at local roadside restaurants, you’ll be able to choose meals directly from the menu. In Ulaanbaatar, a wider range of cuisines — including Korean, Japanese, and Chinese dishes — is available upon request.

Special Diets: Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals are available with advance notice.

  • Private Tours: Most nights include ensuite tourist ger camps (private bathrooms), with a few nights at standard camps.

Winter Tours
