Three Camel Lodge is a luxury eco-lodge located on the edge of Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park in the South Gobi region of Mongolia. Established in 2002 by Nomadic Expeditions founder Jalsa Urubshurow, the lodge was created to provide travelers with an authentic Mongolian experience while combining traditional nomadic culture with modern comfort and sustainable tourism. Surrounded by the vast landscapes of the Gobi Desert and the Altai Mountains, the lodge offers easy access to some of Mongolia’s most famous attractions, including Yol Valley National Park, the Flaming Cliffs fossil site, and the Moltsog Els Sand Dunes. The property was carefully designed to reflect traditional Mongolian architecture, with the main lodge inspired by a Buddhist temple and accommodations built in the style of traditional Mongolian gers.
Three Camel Lodge is part of the Beyond Green portfolio and is recognized internationally for its commitment to sustainable tourism, environmental conservation, and cultural preservation. The lodge uses solar power for lighting, has eliminated single-use plastics, supports local communities and schools, and actively participates in protecting the Gobi’s dinosaur fossil heritage.
