Steppe Nomads Eco Camp was established in 2004 and is located within the Gun Galuut Nature Reserve, approximately 130 km from Ulaanbaatar in Bayandelger Soum, Tuv Province. Situated along the Kherlen River in one of Mongolia’s most scenic protected areas, the camp follows environmentally and culturally sustainable development principles, offering guests an authentic experience in harmony with nature.

The camp serves as an ideal base for exploring Gun Galuut Nature Reserve and the eastern Mongolian steppe, known for its diverse wildlife, wide-open landscapes, and rich nomadic heritage.
