Itinerary
This morning, your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to begin an excursion to Mini Gobi (Elsen Tasarkhai), a breathtaking landscape where golden sand dunes blend with rare shrubs like willow, elm, and dogwood, alongside a small forest by a river. This unique ecosystem is a stunning combination of mountains, forests, steppes, and desert in one location. After lunch at the tourist camp, we will visit a camel herder family to experience their nomadic lifestyle firsthand and explore the magnificent dunes on camelback. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the tourist camp

After enjoy your breakfast, we will journey to the Tsenkher Hot Springs, where natural thermal waters reach +86.5°C with a flow rate of 10 liters per second. Surrounded by lush, wooded mountains, this tranquil place offers the perfect setting to relax and unwind in the curative hot springs. In the evening we will ride a horse for 1 hour.

This morning, we will explore Kharkhorin, a small village and one of Mongolia’s major tourist destinations due to its immense historical significance. Historically once was an ancient capital of Mongol Empire and the most important cities in the history of the Silk Road. First, we will visit the museum of Karakorum and learn more about the Mongolian history. Continue the guided tour to the magnificent and the oldest Buddhist Monastery complex of Erdenezuu. After lunch we will head to Lake Ugii. This freshwater lake is 5km wide, 7km long, and surrounded by a steppe natural zone. The lake has lots of water birds and fish including perches and pikes for fishing. As the day winds down, relax and unwind at the tourist camp on the shore of steppe lake.

On the last day of the tour, Rotarians will embark on a journey to the Hustai National Park, where world’s last wild horse (never domesticated), Takhi inhabit. Upon arrival at Hustai, visit small Ger information center- where you will gain insights into the history, conservation efforts, and ecological importance of these endangered horses. After enjoy lunch at the tourist camp, take a short drive and walking to see the horses in their natural habitat. This is a perfect opportunity for wildlife photography, and with some luck, you may also encounter foxes, red deer, roe deer, eagles, and other fascinating wildlife that inhabit this protected area. Dinner and overnight at tourist Ger camp.

This morning, we will head to beautiful Bogd Khan Mountain National Park, which looms over Ulaanbaatar to the south and is considered to be the oldest legally protected mountain in the world. Once arrival at the Manzushir monastery - The Monastery overlooks a picturesque valley adorned with streams, pine, and birch trees, interspersed with granite boulders, we do some hiking. At around 3 pm, we will return to Ulaanbaatar and transferred to your hotel.
